These bulbs are brighter and have a good color - not too yellow like the incandescents they replaced, but not too white and not at all blue. 0 They measure right about .5 or .6 watts and put out light similar to the Malibu wedge base 7 watt bulb. I am very happy with these... I just need to find a higher wattage version for the two spotlight fixtures we have that take wedge base bulbs. On that note, stay away from Jtechnow - I ordered what they claimed were 2.5 watt 200 lumen bulbs and they were WEAKER than these and also had a horrible color. They were reminiscent of a cheap - think dollar store - solar landscape LED... These bulbs are great for landscape lighting in the path light fixtures.....
