I was looking for this exact type of clip for a nostalgic costume. I searched online for a long time, and for some reason never ran across them here, and in several physical stores. Finally, of all places, I found them in Safeway! They were about .50. The colors are not neon but perfectly bright, the red I personally feel is a little intense (blood red), but the others are great. Especially the intense pear green - which has little old fashioned German style French poodles on. 0 These yank on my nostalgia chain pretty well. I love their awesome vintage look-- they remind me of clips I wore when I was a girl in the 80s. I bought them for my 2 year old. She has quite long hair that hasn't really gotten super thick yet, but I've been impressed at how much of her hair these barrettes can hold. They come in a great range of colors. They are a bit pricier here on Amazon than I would probably pay for just any old clips, but I love these so much I think they were worth the few extra dollars. I'm trying hard to keep these from getting lost, unlike the many clips we've purchased in the past. I have to say, if these do go the way of all the clips, I won't hesitate to buy another package.
