This review is from: Iwata-Medea Com-Art Kit A Opaque Primary (Toy) These paints work perfectly in the airbrush without requiring any further dilution. They clean easily with water, and if you run water through the airbrush after use, your airbrush will remain in as-new condition. They're non-toxic so use by kids learning to use an airbrush works well with these. The colors are bright and generally upbeat. The opacity is only fair, so for instance, if I use this paint on wood, the grain will show through. (That, of course, may be your intent, but if you want enamel-like coverage, you won't get it here). I wasn't able to tell much difference between the opaque colors which are for sale here and the transparent colors available in other Iwata-Medea sets. Let's say you spray this paint on a newspaper; you'll still easily be able to read the articles despite the paint. 0 The bottom line is that the paint works nicely, but consider your application first. The paint works well if you're making a mural on white or be ige paper or canvas. It also sprays well on any bare wood surface. It doesn't adhere well with either metal or plastic so a base coat would be necessary for both surfaces. I tried metal (zinc) as well as plastic (styrene) and agree with Iwata-Medea that this paint isn't recommended for either surface. However, if the metal or plastic has a base coat of enamel first, the Iwata-Medea paints perform very well. Spraying the opaque black, for instance, over a dark blue enamel, worked out perfectly with no show-through of the blue. The paints have a nice two part top that allows either quick pouring or drip-wise addition to an airbrush paint-well. The tops close firmly and are easy to reopen. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Verified Purchase(What's this?)
