I received these Bosch Clear Advantage Beam Wiper Blades (22" and 20" to fit my 2003 Toyota 4-Runner), as part of the Amazon Vine program. As there's not a lot I could write about them, I decided to set-up an informal home test to show you how they worked on my vehicle.

Installation was easy. It took longer to remove the old blades than it did to put the new Bosch Clear Advantage ones on.

The Bosch blades are curved and literally hug the windshield. The hardware is heavy-duty plastic - no metal to rust in sea air or after plowing through heavily salted winter road slush.

Check out the video to see how the Bosch Clear Advantage Beam Wiper Blades cut through heavy water quietly and effectively. Great price, and they work well.

Highly recommended!

UPDATE: 12/26/12
After s ome of the worst wet, snowy weather Southern Oregon has had in 12 years, I'm happy to report the Bosch Clear Advantage wiper blades did their job well. Even in the heaviest of rain or geysers from passing semi-trailer trucks on the freeway, these wipers cut through the downpours and never squeaked. I'll be buying them until they stop making them. Great product!

UPDATE: 7/14/13
Still using these blades and they continue to work very well. I will be buying more this fall if need be after lots of 100+ degree days this summer. Will update the review when squeaks n' smears start to appear, but so far, I'm impressed by the durability of these wipers.

UPDATE: 9/30/13
Southern Oregon just had a gully-washer of an early fall storm, and the Bosch CA-20's are still working great. Nearly 1 year and 4 full seasons later...I think these are the best wipers I've ever owned!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great with a nice price tag, October 30, 2012

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program (What's this?)
I got this for the passenger side of our 4-door Honda Accord (2001). This is a cheaper version of their Icon wiper line. One of the differences is that it doesn't have that little plastic hood that cover the metal hook. Like the ICon, it is also very light and made mostly with composite materials instead of metal parts.

The soft frame curves and conforms to the shape of the surface glass as opposed to conventional wipers that has two parts - the metal frame and the moving part that is the rubber. No streak and it looks great on my car.

Replacing wipers is pretty easy. You may need to look at the instruction as different manufacturers have different ways of releasing them from the hook, but basically takes only thirty seconds to remove the old and snap a new one.

CAUTION:
Be careful when you leave the wiper standing on your windshield after you remove the old one. The wiper is spring loaded, without the wiper it is pure metal and it may snap back to your windshield glass. You may want to place a cardboard box or a towel on top of your glass to protect it while replacing your wipers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy installation, wipes clean, October 14, 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program (What's this?)
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:19 Mins

On the Honda Odyssey, the Bosch 26-CA fits the windshield wiper on the driver's side.

Installation is very easy. It just hooks right on, but note the direction of the blade. Make sure the thick part of the head where the windshield wiper hook inserts is facing the passenger side. The instructions are completely visual, but they do not make that clear. It is very easy to put on backwards. If you do, the blade could come loose. My boss said he installed windshield wipers once that came flying off. I imagine putting blades like this on backwards is one way that could happen. If you do it correctly, the blade should hold firm and not shift.

We were fortunate enough to get rain for me to test out the blade. Although the passenger side wiper leaves a streak, the driver's side wiper wipes clean. Somehow, my video is flipped and I can't flip it back. The right side in the video is actually the driver's side. I am very satisfied with the Bosch 26-CA.
