Waste of time and money and you will have to chip it away and get the good stuff and do it all over again. 0 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  DID NOT WORK FOR ME!, This review is from: Bohning Platinum Fletch Tite 3/4oz (Sports) I was thew Shooting Sports Director at our local Scout Camp this year. As such, we repaired several hundred arrows over this summer season. The arrows were carbon with some aluminum ones as well. All arrow shafts needing fletching were properly prepared including a thorough scraping and following it up with denatured alcohol. After attaching the fletching, an extra drop of glue was added to the front and rear of each fletch for strength. All arrows were stored vertically and the glue was left to set for a good 24 hours before the arrows were allowed to be used. 0 By the time camp was over, we had about 5 arrows still in good condition. I had fletching falling off before the arrows even hit the targets. Others stripped off after hitting the targets. In general, the glue seemed to hold on the arrow shafts about 80% of the time, but it stripped off of the plastic fletching. In any case,I would not recommend this product in the future. 12/28/ 13 UPDATE: I have been in contact with the manufacturer & they have sent new sample to try. This sample just worked much better than The bottle of glue from Carbon Express. Finally got my money back and then another 3 weeks went by and guess what showed up on my doorstep. Bought some goat tuff from my local shop so this glue went right in the trash. You get what you pay for...in this case 7 weeks after you order it. 0 |
